Loretta was born to the union of Henrietta and Willie in San Francisco, where she grew up and spent most of her adult years. She was an alumni of Balboa High. After graduating, Loretta attended Business College which lead to her gaining employment with the Bayview Federal Savings and Loan. Her work goals and standards lead to achievement awards for Outstanding Work Performance. Loretta curtailed her career goals to provide special care for her children.

More than being a educated woman and a good worker, Loretta was a loving, devoted, and caring mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and a child of God.


Loretta has left her loved ones with the rememberence of her beautiful smile and the warmth of her charm that radiated like the sunlight. She warmed many hearts with her laughter which would echo throughout the room. Loretta's inner strength was a beacon light and a source of wisdom to others. Her heart was filled with love and genorosity. Loretta met people easily as she was outgoing, friendly, and humorous.
